Long Term Care Placement

If you’re here, something’s likely happened and it’s become clear that your loved one needs additional assistance caring for themselves in the future.

I want you to know first that I will be here to help you, even if this is something you hadn’t planned for. I’m prepared to fill you in on the following possible placements as well as the differences between them so you can find the best fit for your loved one.

Possible Placements:

Receiving Care at Home Weekly, Biweekly, or 24/7

Independent Living Facilities

Assisted Living Facilities

Memory-care Units (usually in Assisted Living)

Nursing Homes

I know how you feel - because many of my clients feel the same way.

You’re dealing with some tension about where you want your loved one to go - but certain benefits don’t apply to the most ideal placement for your individual loved-one.

Everyone in your family and social network has an opinion and wants to be heard - even your siblings who might live the furthest away.

There’s an educational component to the way we work together - because depending on what benefits you have and what policy you purchased for long term care, not everything will pay for everything. I’m here to show you the way.
